GMV is expanding its aerospace team in Madrid to design, develop and verify electronic equipment for satellites and launch vehicles. The role involves creating the internal architecture, routing PCBs and simulating performance, while ensuring requirements are verified through testing and documentation.

You will work with an international multidisciplinary team on cutting-edge projects and engage with clients and suppliers during the development cycle.

Formación

• Engineers in electronics or telecommunications with project experience.
• Knowledge of electronic design and simulation tools (Altium, PSpice, ORCAD).
• Familiarity with EMI/EMC and laboratory instrumentation.

Responsabilidades

• Design internal architecture of electronic equipment for satellites/launch vehicles.
• Design electronic boards including PCB routing.
• Simulate and verify operation in prototypes and final versions.
• Verify and validate requirements through analysis and testing; write technical docs and reports.
• Participate in meetings with clients and suppliers.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

You’ll be part of our multidisciplinary and international team working on cutting-edge projects, where you’ll participate in designing the internal architecture of electronic equipment for satellites and/or launch vehicles, designing electronic boards (including PCB routing), and simulating and verifying their operation in prototypes and final versions. In addition, you will be involved in verifying and validating requirements through analysis and/or testing, and you will write technical documentation and reports, participating in meetings with clients and suppliers.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

For this position, we are looking for engineers in electronics, telecommunications, or related fields with experience and prior knowledge of the tasks described, particularly in tools for electronic design and simulation (Altium, PSpice, ORCAD), EMI/EMC, and laboratory instrumentation (oscilloscope, multimeter, spectrum analyzer, etc.). We also value prior experience in the space sector with ECSS standards.
