LOEWE is seeking a motivated student to join the Hardware Development team in Madrid. You will assist in creating and standardising hardware specifications for leather goods and accessories, and help develop new hardware concepts while collaborating with Design, Quality, Production and external suppliers.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a master’s program, fluent in English with conversational Spanish, and possess analytical, collaborative, and proactive skills to thrive in a fast-moving luxury

Formación

• Currently enrolled in a master’s degree program, engineering school, business school, university, etc.
• Interest in hardware development, product design and the luxury industry.
• Analytical, structured and rigorous skills, with attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of 3D modelling will be valued.
• Good knowledge of the Office package.
• Fluent in English and (at least) conversational Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Study current best practices in hardware and leather goods development.
• Gather and analyse information from previous hardware developments.
• Assess best practices in terms of hardware design and development.
• Create specification documents for different hardware families, such as snap hooks, locking systems, dice and other components.
• Develop new hardware standards based on design golden rules.
• Summarise and structure technical knowledge within clear and accessible documentation.
• Present new documentation to LOEWE teams and share it with external suppliers.
• Support the design and development of new hardware for leather goods and accessories.
• Contribute to the development of new hardware concepts.
• Collaborate with Hardware Development & Industrialization, Quality, Production and Design teams, as well as external suppliers.
