LOEWE is seeking a Hardware Development Intern in Madrid to support the creation and standardisation of hardware specifications for leather goods and accessories. You will study best practices, gather data, and develop new hardware standards while collaborating with design, production, and suppliers.

The role requires master’s level study, interest in hardware development, and strong English with conversational Spanish.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in a master's degree program (engineering, business, or related).
• Interest in hardware development and luxury industry.
• Analytical, structured and rigorous with attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of 3D modelling will be valued.
• Good knowledge of the Office package.
• Fluent in English and conversational Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Study current best practices in hardware and leather goods development.
• Gather and analyse information from previous hardware developments.
• Assess best practices in terms of hardware design and development.
• Create specification documents for different hardware families (e.g., snap hooks, locking systems).
• Develop new hardware standards based on design golden rules.
• Summarise and structure technical knowledge within clear documentation.
• Present new documentation to LOEWE teams and share it with external suppliers.
• Support the design and development of new hardware for leather goods and accessories.
• Contribute to the development of new hardware concepts.
• Collaborate with Hardware Development & Industrialization, Quality, Production and Design teams, as well as external suppliers.
