Job summary

Kimpton, in Spain, offers a hospitality internship for students currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field. You will welcome guests, assist with check-in, provide information on hotel services, and support concierge duties while communicating across departments.

English fluency and a proactive, team-oriented attitude are essential. The role includes uniform provisions, training access, discounted room rates, meals on shift, and a fun work environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field.
• Possibility to sign an agreement with your school for at least 4 months preferred.
• Previous hotel knowledge and experience in operational departments valuable.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Proactive, positive, energetic, dynamic, empathetic, team-oriented and with a passion for service.

Your day-to-day

• Check guests in, provide information on hotel services and room location.
• Ensure required identification is taken from guests at check-in in line with local legislative requirements
• Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service.
• Perform other duties as assigned including guest room tours, concierge services, special guest requests, etc.
• Accommodating general and unique requests.

What we need from you

• Currently studying a bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field.
