Job summary

Amadeus is seeking a Group Internal Control Senior Specialist to strengthen our global IT control framework. You will design, test, and document IT controls, collaborating with cross-functional teams and auditors to ensure compliance across systems.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years in IT controls or IT audit, strong SAP GRC knowledge, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset. The role offers a hybrid work model and international exposure within a global tech environment.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in IT internal controls, ITGC, or IT audit in regulated environments.
• Background in a Big Four firm or multinational with mature control or audit functions.
• Strong command of SAP GRC and internal control methodologies.
• Knowledge of SoD is a plus.
• Degree in Engineering, Information Systems or related technical field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across international teams.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Proactive, adaptable, and motivated to contribute in a fast-changing landscape.

• Perform design and operating effectiveness testing (TDO/TOE) of IT controls to ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Conduct segregation of duties (SoD) monitoring and follow-up across integrated systems.
• Analyze, validate, and document evidence related to IT general and application controls.
• Collaborate with control owners, internal audit, and external auditors during testing and certification.
• Identify improvement opportunities within IT control processes and contribute to framework Evolutions.
• Prepare periodic reports and summaries of control testing outcomes for management review.
• Support alignment with Amadeus’ control methodologies and governance standards.

In this role, you'll

• Perform design and operating effectiveness testing (TDO/TOE) of IT controls to ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.

About The Ideal Candidate

• 3–4 years of experience in IT internal controls, IT General Controls (ITGC), or IT audit roles, ideally within complex or regulated environments.
• Background in a Big Four firm such as Deloitte or KPMG, or experience in a multinational company with a mature internal control or audit function.
• Strong command of SAP GRC and internal control methodologies.
• Knowledge of segregation of duties (SoD) is a plus.
• A degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or another technical field, or equivalent professional experience gained in IT controls, audit, or governance environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and process improvement.
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to collaborate across multifunctional, international teams.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Proactive, adaptable, and motivated to contribute within a fast‑changing technological and organizational landscape.
