Job summary

Satlantis in Bilbao, Spain, is seeking a Ground Segment Software Engineer to join a young, international team working with ESA and other agencies.

You will develop and operate ground-segment software linking satellites to Earth using Python and C/C++ on Linux, containerised with Docker and Kubernetes, and work across ETL pipelines, databases, and cloud infrastructure. Flexible hours and campus perks are offered at the Leioa/Bizkaia HQ.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering/Science or related.
• Around two to three years of Python and/or C/C++ experience.
• Linux proficiency.
• Docker/Kubernetes and cloud experience.
• Familiarity with ETL and databases.
• Ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and operate the ground-segment software linking satellites to Earth.
• Handle ETL/data pipelines and manage databases across the full lifecycle from development to operations.
