GTD Group in Barcelona seeks a Senior Engineer for Ground Segment Development to join GTD Sistemas de Información. You will contribute to building a mission control centre for European spacecraft, working with EGS-CC, CDM, and EMF technologies.

The role requires system integration, software extension in Java/OSGi, data modelling, and rigorous testing with FAT/SAT. Mentoring and collaboration with ESA stakeholders are part of the scope.

Formación

• Experience in space mission control or ground segment systems.
• Ability to integrate and configure mission-critical software.
• Strong programming and debugging skills in Java/OSGi.

Responsabilidades

• System Integration & Configuration: Integrate, configure and customize EGS-CC components to develop mission-specific ground control systems.
• Software Development & Extension: Develop adapters, plugins and extensions within the Java/OSGi framework for space missions.
• Data Modelling: Define and maintain mission database models using CDM and EMF.
• Verification & Testing: Conduct FAT, SAT and end-to-end validation of ground systems.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare ICDs, test plans and design docs per space software guidelines.
• Technical Leadership & Mentoring: Guide junior engineers and coordinate with ESA stakeholders.
