Job summary

Satlantis in Bilbao, Spain, is seeking a Ground Segment Software Engineer to join a young, international team working with ESA and other agencies.

You will develop and operate ground-segment software linking satellites to Earth using Python and C/C++ on Linux, containerised with Docker and Kubernetes, and work across ETL pipelines, databases, and cloud infrastructure. Flexible hours and campus perks are offered at the Leioa/Bizkaia HQ.

Qualifications

Satlantis is recruiting a Ground Segment Software Engineer in Bilbao, Spain.

Contract: full time.

Degree level: Degree in computer engineering or science.

Language: English.

Work experience: 2-3 years.

The role covers develop and operate the ground-segment software that links satellites to Earth: Python and C/C++ services on Linux, containerised with Docker and Kubernetes, ETL and data pipelines, SQL/NoSQL databases, Bash automation and AWS-type cloud infrastructure, across the full lifecycle from development to operations.
