The Green Recruitment Company is seeking an experienced development professional to originate and progress large-scale data center opportunities across Europe. The role focuses on land, power, grid connection, permitting, partnerships and commercial development.

Responsibilities include leading feasibility studies, securing resources, coordinating with utilities, regulators and partners, and driving due diligence and negotiations throughout the lifecycle.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of data center or large-scale infrastructure development experience.
• Strong understanding of site selection and permitting processes.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and evaluate potential data center development opportunities across key European markets.
• Secure critical project resources including land, power capacity, grid connection and permitting.
• Lead early-stage development activities including feasibility studies, planning, environmental assessments and regulatory approvals.
• Develop project structures covering land, power supply, renewable energy and associated infrastructure.
• Build relationships with utilities, grid operators, government authorities, developers and infrastructure partners.
• Identify acquisition, co-development and investment opportunities and support commercial and technical due diligence.
• Work with potential customers to understand power, capacity, reliability and sustainability requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders throughout the project development lifecycle.
• Identify key commercial, technical and development risks and drive practical solutions.
• Support commercial negotiations with project partners, customers and infrastructure providers.

Our client is an international energy and infrastructure company expanding its data center development activities across Europe. They are looking for an experienced development professional to originate and progress large-scale data center opportunities, with particular focus on land, power, grid connection, permitting, partnerships and commercial development.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential data center development opportunities across key European markets.

• Secure critical project resources including land, power capacity, grid connection and permitting.

• Lead early-stage development activities including feasibility studies, planning, environmental assessments and regulatory approvals.

• Strong understanding of site selection, permitting, feasibility, due diligence and grid connection processes.

• Experience working with utilities, grid operators, government authorities and permitting agencies.

• Good understanding of large-load power requirements and infrastructure development.

• Strong commercial capability with experience managing multiple external stakeholders.

• Experience within data centers, colocation, hyperscale infrastructure, power generation or renewable energy would be highly relevant.

• Existing relationships across utilities, grid operators, developers, data center operators or large power users would be advantageous.

• Able to operate independently across multiple European markets and manage complex development processes.
