Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Analyst to help build and evaluate datasets and evaluation frameworks focused on security, risk, and compliance reasoning for AI training.

This is a remote hourly contract offering 10–40 hours per week. You will review policies, assess risk and control mappings, and help train AI to reason about real-world compliance challenges across SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in GRC, compliance, risk management.
• Familiar with SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS or similar.
• Able to read and critique policy documents and audit reports.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.
• Independent, self-motivated with asynchronous work ability.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze security policies, controls, and procedures for accuracy and completeness.
• Evaluate and classify compliance scenarios across SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST.
• Assess risk statements, control mappings, and audit-style documentation.
• Generate and validate training data for AI reasoning in GRC contexts.
• Identify gaps, ambiguities, and errors in AI-generated outputs.
