Job summary

Aircall is seeking a Software Engineer – Graduate for a 6-month professional practice contract in Madrid, with hybrid work. The role targets recent graduates in Computer Science or related fields and offers mentorship, an Individual Training Plan, and a pathway to a permanent contract based on performance.

You’ll build backend features in TypeScript/Node.js (plus some Python) on AWS, review code, monitor services, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver production-ready features

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related.
• Last 3 years since graduation.
• Solid fundamentals in at least one programming language.
• Familiarity with Git, REST APIs and databases.

Responsibilities

• Build, test and ship backend features in TypeScript/Node.js (and some Python) on AWS.
• Write clean, tested, and maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Learn to monitor and operate services in production: logs, metrics, alerts, incidents.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers to solve user problems.
• Own a feature end-to-end by the end of the program.
