Valsea IT is seeking a senior backend engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable Go services. You will work on event-driven distributed systems with Kafka and gRPC, owning legacy codebases and expanding platform capabilities.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ship features, improve observability, and drive production reliability while maintaining strong documentation and knowledge sharing across the team. Proficiency in English is essential.

Formación

• 3+ years of hands-on Go in production.
• Experience with Kafka, gRPC, and Protocol Buffers.
• Production PostgreSQL/Redis experience.
• Docker/containerized deployment experience.
• Strong English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain backend services in Go.
• Develop event-driven, distributed systems using Kafka and gRPC.
• Own and evolve legacy codebases into the platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features.
• Improve observability, monitoring, and alerting for production readiness.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
• Share knowledge and raise the technical bar across the team.
