Valsea Technology in Marbella, Spain is looking for self-driven Scala developers to join a fast-moving, innovative team. You’ll design, build, and operate scalable backend services using Scala, Akka, and Kafka, collaborating with cross-functional colleagues to ship features that deliver real product value.

You’ll thrive in an evolving stack, mentor teammates, and participate in on-call rotations after onboarding.

Formación

• Scala expertise with hands-on development experience.
• Akka/Pekko for resilient distributed systems.
• Kafka experience including event streaming.
• 3+ years of Scala or project management experience.
• Product-minded with focus on user value.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to work in ambiguity and drive solutions.
• Organized, proactive and collaborative.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Scala.
• Develop event-driven distributed systems with Akka and Kafka.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship new features.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and evolve the stack.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
• Mentor teammates and raise the technical bar across the team.
