Valsea Technology in Marbella, Spain, is seeking a self-driven Golang developer to join a dynamic product team. You will own and evolve backend services, design event-driven architectures, and integrate acquired platforms into Valsea’s ecosystem.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years with Go and Kafka, plus Docker experience, to deliver scalable solutions while collaborating with engineers, designers, and product owners in a hybrid work setup.

Formación

• 3+ years hands-on Go production experience in distributed systems.
• Experience with event streaming using Apache Kafka.
• Proficient in gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
• Production PostgreSQL and Redis experience.
• Containerized deployments with Docker; familiarity with orchestration is a plus.
• Strong English communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in ambiguity and lead where needed.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain highly scalable backend services in Go.
• Develop event-driven, distributed systems using Kafka and gRPC.
• Own and evolve acquired codebases; integrate into Valsea platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship new features with product value.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and backend evolution.
• Build and maintain back-office APIs and admin tooling.
• Enhance observability, monitoring, and production reliability.
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and drive improvements.
• Share knowledge and raise the technical bar across the team.
