Stayforlong, born in Barcelona and now a remote-first tech team in Spain, is seeking engineers to build and scale backend services for a web-based product. You will own design, implementation, and testing across the software lifecycle in a collaborative Agile environment.

We value 2+ years’ experience with Go, Python, Java, PHP, Ruby, or .NET, plus knowledge of asynchronous programming, and fluency in Spanish with English working knowledge.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience building technically complex products in Go, Python, Java, PHP, Ruby, .NET, or similar languages.
• Experience with asynchronous programming, including streams, task queues, and message queues.
• Fluent in Spanish with working knowledge of English.
• Nice to Have: experience with Go, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, or AWS.

Responsabilidades

• Build & Scale: Develop backend services and distributed systems for a web-based product in an Agile environment.
• End-to-End Ownership: Design, implement, and test solutions, taking full responsibility for the software development lifecycle.
• Integrate: Connect our platform with diverse 3rd party APIs.
• Optimize: Proactively monitor and maintain the services within your team’s scope.
