Job summary

Roche in Madrid is seeking a Global Technology Vendor Management Expert - Software & Cloud to maximize value from strategic technology vendors while protecting the company from commercial and compliance risks. You will collaborate across Technology, Procurement, Legal, Finance, SAM, Security and Architecture to shape decisions and translate vendor commitments into measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

Significant experience managing global Technology/IT vendors in Software/SaaS/Cloud.
Expert contract management and negotiation across complex agreements.
Strong understanding of pricing, licensing, SLA, liability, and change control.
Financial acumen including business cases and total cost of ownership.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders across cross-functional teams.
English language proficiency; Polish or Spanish is a plus.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in technology, engineering or business.
Experience with GDPR, cybersecurity and data protection in regulated industries.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic vendor and contract governance for Software, SaaS and Cloud relationships.
Provide expert input across the contract lifecycle, including major agreements and renewals.
Review pricing, scope, deliverables and acceptance, SLAs/KPIs, liability/remedies, change control.
Lead complex negotiations, commercial escalations and remediation with BATNA.
Identify cost exposure and optimization opportunities in vendor contracts.
Build and challenge business cases and total cost of ownership.
Identify and manage commercial, contractual, operational, technology and compliance risks.
Translate complex vendor matters into clear recommendations for senior decision-makers.
Mentor Vendor Managers to accelerate team capability development.
