ICON Clinical Research is establishing a new kit production and supply location in Barcelona, Spain. As Global Supply Chain Specialist, you will coordinate the global distribution of clinical trial kits to investigator sites, ensuring timely, compliant deliveries and seamless collaboration with vendors and project teams.

You will monitor shipments, support protocol-specific logistics plans, and contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced, international setting to support life‑changing

Formación

• Experience in supply chain, logistics, clinical supplies, pharmaceutical operations, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of global shipping and transportation processes.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams and external vendors.
• Knowledge of import/export regulations and international logistics is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused approach.
• Fluency in English; additional European languages are beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate the global shipment of clinical trial kits and supplies to investigator sites.
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments, resolving delays and transportation issues.
• Support setup and implementation of protocol-specific logistics plans.
• Liaise with project teams, investigators, couriers, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure supply continuity.
• Prepare shipping documentation and export/import paperwork per country requirements.
• Manage courier relationships and identify cost‑effective shipping solutions.
• Maintain oversight of kit production vendors and monitor performance metrics.
• Support quality investigations, audits and corrective action activities.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, regulations and international shipping requirements.
