Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe, Madrid, is seeking a Supplier Development Manager to join the Supply Chain & Quality Management Team. The role focuses on end-to-end supply chain robustness, driving continuous improvement, and elevating supplier performance across aeronautics, astronautics, and defense.

You will lead field missions, define CID action plans, deploy Lean, Six Sigma, APQP tools at supplier sites, and coordinate with global suppliers to ensure delivery and quality targets are

Formación

• Engineering degree or equivalent with strong technical background.
• Senior profile with 5+ years in Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Procurement in aeronautics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills; capable of leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Advanced English; Spanish or German a plus.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and APQP tools (pFMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plans); exposure to end-to-end PM/SC management.
• Nice to have Six Sigma Black Belt or Shainin; audit/assessment experience; multilingual.
• Willingness to travel ~40% to supplier sites in Madrid area and beyond.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct supplier assessments and field missions to identify weaknesses and improvement axes.
• Define and execute CID actions with key stakeholders and supplier management.
• Deploy Lean, Six Sigma, 8D/PPS, APQP, pFMEA, SPC, and DMAIC at supplier sites.
• Lead complex initiatives including Transfer of Work and New Product Implementation.
• Provide recovery support during supplier issues to ensure delivery and quality targets.
• Coordinate cross-functional assessment teams with global suppliers and manage change across organizations.
