Airbus Operations SL in Getafe (Madrid) seeks a Strategic Procurement Manager to lead the Composites Procurement Strategy for Next Generation Composites, coordinating with R&T, Engineering, Manufacturing, SC&Q and external suppliers. You will manage tender activities, establish contractual frameworks, monitor supplier performance, and drive risk management to align with programme milestones.

Formación

Degree in Engineering, Science (Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics) or Business Administration.
Proven experience in Procurement, managing international suppliers, key contracts, and competitive bidding processes.
Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills with ability to structure complex data and work transnationally.
Fluent/Advanced English (C1/C2).
Knowledge of procurement frameworks, risk management, and strategic sourcing.
Nice to have knowledge of materials/composites and project management methodology.

Responsabilidades

Lead the creation and execution of the Composites Procurement Strategy in alignment with the Next Gen Programme Strategy.
Coordinate procurement involvement for Next Generation Composite Materials, lead tender activities and cross-divisional teams.
Establish and maintain contractual frameworks (NDAs, Cooperation, Research Agreements) with external suppliers.
Monitor and secure supplier involvement, performance, and adherence to milestones, planning and deliveries.
Ensure procurement contributions to material trade-offs and drive risk & opportunity management.
Consolidate inputs and deliver presentations to higher management at key decision forums.
