Job summary

AP Staffing in Spain is seeking an experienced test manager to build the test strategy, create test cases and drive the execution cadence. You will lead system integration testing with IT and involve key users, ensuring testers move through long end-to-end scenarios spanning thirty to fifty steps.

Chase blockers, push defect fixes, and shape day-to-day testing operations including war rooms and training. You will coordinate across teams in multiple countries, aligning with US Eastern time zones

Qualifications

• Experience managing tests on large SAP programmes.
• Experience running long multi-step end-to-end scenarios across countries.
• Defect management and retest coordination under time pressure.
• Test tool selection and rollout, including tester training.
• Process-to-test-case mapping and coverage reporting.
• Comfortable coordinating with colleagues in the US Eastern time zone and shifting hours to do it.

Responsibilities

• Build the test strategy, the test cases and the working cadence before execution begins
• Run system integration testing, led by IT with some superuser involvement
• Keep testers moving through long end-to-end scenarios of thirty to fifty steps
• Chase blocked steps so the work downstream of them does not stall
• Push defect fixes through and get the retest done quickly
• Decide how testing will run day to day, covering war rooms, co-location and daily status reviews
• Help pick a replacement test tool, take part in the demos and arrange tester training
• Build a process repository in Excel down to level four
• Map test cases back to processes so coverage is real and not a case count
• Work across testers spread over several countries, with handoffs between them
