Rondo Energy, Inc. is seeking a Madrid-based Principal Process Safety Engineer to own and lead the global risk-based PSM program. You will set global safety standards, lead high-risk studies, and build a distributed facilitator network across geographies.

You will also manage the PHA action registry, serve as reviewer in MOC, and train a network of safety champions to ensure a scalable, world-class program.

Formación

• BS in chemical, mechanical, process engineering or related field.
• 10–15+ years of process safety engineering experience with independent facilitation of major studies.
• Multi-site or international process safety experience and regulatory familiarity.
• Travel internationally 25–40% as needed.
• Experience with hazard-evaluation methods (HAZID/HAZOP/LOPA).
• Knowledge of IEC 61511 functional safety lifecycle and related concepts.
• Ability to translate findings into prioritized risk-based recommendations.
• Ability to harmonize regulatory requirements into a single global standard.

Responsabilidades

• Own and scale Rondo's global risk-based PSM program across sites.
• Own the global PHA methodology (HAZID/HAZOP/LOPA) and facilitate studies.
• Maintain the PHA action register and governance; track closures.
• Serve as mandatory process safety reviewer within MOC; own PSSR and PSI.
• Build process safety competency; deliver training and establish local facilitators.
