Job summary

Oyster is seeking an Offboard Operations Expert to join our Lifecycle Operations team to deliver a superior support experience during sensitive employment transitions. You will guide customers through complex offboarding cases and coordinate with cross-functional partners to resolve inquiries and ensure compliant, smooth processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in customer service or customer-facing operations, with HR/People Operations experience.
• Experience handling complex employee lifecycle cases and bulk offboarding workflows.
• Experience supporting employees/customers across multiple countries/regions.
• Exposure to employment practices within EMEA is preferred.
• Strong SLA focus with CSAT and turnaround metric history.
• Able to use self-service playbooks, asynchronous tools, and cross-functional knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact during standard and complex offboarding processes.
• Collaborate with customer service, HR, finance, product, and legal to resolve queries and share knowledge.
• Meet weekly service delivery goals and CSAT targets.
• Handle escalations with clarity and escalate when needed.
• Lead small bulk offboardings (5+ team members) with cross-functional coordination.
• Identify improvements to playbooks/workflows to boost efficiency.
• Maintain data accuracy on the Oyster platform and keep communications clear.
• Contribute to knowledge bases and support team learning.
