Arbex is seeking a Global Ocean Freight professional to lead sourcing and contracting for international transportation at a global level, based in Madrid with a hybrid work model.

You will own supplier negotiations, build cost models, and manage carrier relationships while driving cost efficiency and risk mitigation in a multinational setup.

Formación

• Preferably 8+ years of strategic sourcing / category management experience.
• Ocean freight / international logistics category experience; strong knowledge of carrier markets and rate structures.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and cost-modelling skills; contract management experience.
• Ability to work in a global matrix organization; fluent English.

Responsabilidades

• Own the sourcing strategy and execution for ocean freight and international transportation services at global level
• Lead supplier negotiations, contracting and commercial terms to deliver cost, cash and supply‑continuity targets
• Build category cost models, market intelligence and should‑cost analysis to inform sourcing decisions
• Manage supplier relationships and performance (scorecards, business reviews, risk mitigation)
• Negotiate global carrier contracts, rates and capacity commitments; run annual/seasonal tender cycles
• Monitor freight‑market dynamics and manage cost and capacity risk with supply chain and finance

About You
