Arbex, a global consumer goods leader, is seeking a Global Market Intelligence & Data Lead to strengthen market intelligence, improve spend forecasting accuracy, and protect financial results. In this strategic role, you’ll work across procurement, finance, and category teams to shape insights that drive decisions.

Based in Madrid with a flexible hybrid model, you’ll deliver long-term forecasts, build analytics capabilities, and communicate complex insights to senior stakeholders, helping Arbex

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Mathematics or related field.
• Proven experience in commodity analysis, hedging, or risk management.
• Strong understanding of derivatives, financial markets, and hedge accounting.
• Expertise in Energy & Utilities markets (Resins/Fiber is a plus).
• Strong analytical capabilities with forecasting and modelling experience.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills (programming/data tools advantageous).
• Ability to translate complex data into executive-level insights.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management in a global environment.
• Proactive, strategic mindset with focus on business impact.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver long-term commodity price forecasts (3–5 years) and advanced market analytics.
• Conduct macroeconomic trend analysis, supply/demand dynamics, and pricing outlooks.
• Provide insights to support hedging strategies, price fixing, and procurement decisions.
• Develop standardized processes for market research and forecasting.
• Lead commodity risk management and volatility mitigation.
• Prepare risk/reward scenarios (hedging vs long-term contracts).
• Support forecasting of commodity exposure and hedging activities.
• Partner with Category Managers, Finance, and Procurement globally.
• Communicate complex market insights to senior stakeholders.
• Build relationships with industry players and external partners.
• Contribute to capability building and best practice sharing.
• Develop and manage market intelligence databases, dashboards, and indicators.

About You

We are seeking a Global Market Intelligence & Data Lead to join our Global Procurement Centre of Excellence. This is a strategic, high-impact role focused on strengthening market intelligence, improving spend forecasting accuracy, and protecting company financial results. In one of our Supply Chain roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the centre.

Job responsibilities

• Deliver long‑term commodity price forecasts (3-5 years) and advanced market analytics
• Conduct in-depth analysis of macroeconomic trends, supply & demand dynamics, and pricing outlooks
• Provide insights to support hedging strategies, price fixing, and procurement decision-making
• Develop and implement standardized processes for market research and forecasting
• Lead commodity risk management and volatility mitigation strategies
• Prepare and evaluate risk/reward scenarios (e.g. hedging vs. long‑term contracts)
• Support forecasting of commodity exposure and collaborate on hedging activities
• Partner closely with Category Managers, Finance, and Procurement teams globally
• Communicate complex market insights clearly to senior stakeholders and leadership
• Build relationships with industry players and external partners to stay ahead of market trends
• Contribute to capability building and best practice sharing across the procurement function
• Develop, implement and manage market intelligence databases, dashboards and indicators, ensuring data quality, consistency, governance and scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Mathematics, or related field
• Proven experience in commodity analysis, hedging, or risk management
• Strong understanding of derivatives, financial markets, and hedge accounting
• Expertise in Energy & Utilities markets (Resins/Fiber is a plus)
• Strong analytical capabilities with experience in forecasting and modelling
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills (programming/data tools are an advantage)
