Arbex is seeking an experienced sourcing professional to lead global ocean freight and international transportation procurement. The role emphasizes cost competitiveness, risk management, and supplier performance in a matrix, multinational environment.

The position requires deep knowledge of carrier markets, strong negotiation skills, and fluency in English. A flexible work model combines remote work with in-person collaboration to drive results.

Formación

• Preferably 8+ years of strategic sourcing / category management experience.
• Ocean freight / international logistics category experience; strong knowledge of carrier markets and rate structures.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and cost-modelling skills; contract management experience.
• Ability to work in a global matrix organization; fluent English.

Responsabilidades

• Own the sourcing strategy and execution for ocean freight and international transportation services at global level.
• Lead supplier negotiations, contracting and commercial terms to deliver cost, cash and supply-continuity targets.
• Build category cost models, market intelligence and should-cost analysis to inform sourcing decisions.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance (scorecards, business reviews, risk mitigation).
• Negotiate global carrier contracts, rates and capacity commitments; run annual/seasonal tender cycles.
• Monitor freight-market dynamics and manage cost and capacity risk with supply chain and finance.
