Job summary

Roche is seeking a Manufacturing Cyber Security Architect to act as a strategic liaison between global PT/IT teams and local manufacturing sites. You will design, implement, and govern cyber security controls across manufacturing systems, including IIoT, UNS, AAS and cloud-based solutions, ensuring compliance with GxP and regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with IT, Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing to embed security into Industry 4.0 initiatives and drive site-level security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security or related field; Master’s preferred or equivalent experience.
• Typically 3–5+ years in pharmaceutical, biotech or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Deep understanding of cyber security frameworks, GxP, Purdue Model, OT architectural design and UNS/ESB concepts.
• Certifications such as CISSP/CISM are a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary cyber security liaison between global PT/IT and local manufacturing sites.
• Design and enable future manufacturing security needs with IIoT, UNS, AAS, and cloud-based systems.
• Ensure site-level adherence to corporate cyber security standards, risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Support implementation and monitoring of cyber security controls across equipment and automation.
• Translate global security strategies into practical site actions and training.
• Coordinate incident responses and manage escalations to global teams when required.
• Collaborate with IT, Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing to embed security into Industry 4.0 initiatives
