AstraZeneca GmbH is seeking a skilled health economist to join our global oncology HTA and Modelling Science team in Barcelona. You will develop and evaluate HE models and communicate economic value for HTA submissions, collaborating with cross-functional partners to secure patient access to medicines.

The role offers opportunities to shape methods, leverage genAI and contribute to strategic HTA activities across markets, with a focus on impactful outcomes and international teamwork.

Formación

• Degree in economics, health economics, statistics/biostatistics, mathematics or equivalent with a statistical component.
• Minimum 5 years of experience applying modelling to HTA submissions.
• Expert knowledge in economic modelling and budget impact analysis.
• Understanding of statistical principles used in HTA settings, evidence synthesis and trial analysis.
• Experience contributing to HTA submissions and responding to questions.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to development of strategic approaches and delivery of health economic (HE) models for HTA submissions worldwide.
• Act as a primary contact for guidance on HE deliverables.
• Apply novel modelling methods, such as surrogacy, survival and regression analyses.
• Support cross-functional decision-making beyond HTA and market access.
• Provide leadership for HMS tools, guidance documents and external publications.
• Assure quality and manage modelling projects with external vendors.
• Build partnerships with cross-functional teams.
