Job summary

SAMY in Madrid is seeking a Senior FP&A professional to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis across the agency. You will partner with local and regional finance teams to deliver timely insights that shape strategic decisions and optimize resources.

The role involves building and improving financial models, preparing management reports, supporting ERP implementations, and driving process improvements with BI tools.

Qualifications

• Clear written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
• 5-7 years of FP&A, financial planning, or related corporate finance experience.
• Experience in advertising, digital marketing, or media industries (or multi-entity/matrix structure).
• Prior experience in consulting or Big Four is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles with timely insights.
• Build and maintain financial models for revenue, cost, and profitability at multiple levels.
• Partner with local/regional finance teams to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare management reporting packages, variance analysis, and KPI dashboards.
• Support ERP and FP&A tool implementations (TLO, NetSuite, Abacum).
• Identify process improvements and enhance data quality with BI tools.
• Support M&A analyses, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration.
