Job summary

Northland Power Inc. in Madrid is seeking an FP&A Senior Manager to drive budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning across the onshore unit. The role blends hands-on financial modeling with executive stakeholder engagement and data-driven decision support.

You will own annual budgets and monthly reforecasts, build cash flow and scenario analyses, and help deploy Power BI dashboards while partnering with senior management in a hybrid Madrid office environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in FP&A and financial forecasting for energy/utility sectors.
• Strong proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Experience with Power BI dashboards and financial modeling.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and senior management.

Responsibilities

• Formulate annual budgets and business plans with the FP&A Director.
• Prepare and present monthly reforecasts and BU FP&A reports (variance analyses and key drivers).
• Develop BU cash flow analyses and long-term operating models.
• Support devex and capitalized devex reviews and forecast.
• Prepare BU quarterly reviews and annual board materials.
• Contribute to long-range forecasting and growth pipeline planning.
• Assist in implementing and developing forecasting tools.
