BizAway, a fast-growing travel tech scale-up, seeks a Global Financial Controller in Barcelona to lead global controlling. You will manage a ~10-person team, drive country profitability analysis, pricing, and AI-enabled automation as the company scales beyond €200 million revenue.

You will own the global budgeting cycles, consolidate monthly/annual closes, and deliver high-impact board packs for Private Equity investors, reporting to the CFO.

Qualificações

• 8–10+ years in consulting/auditing and corporate accounting/controlling.
• 3+ years as Financial Controller in a fast-growing tech platform.
• Strong commercial acumen and collaboration with Sales/Product.
• Experience automating or applying AI in finance; NetSuite a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, goal-oriented, team-oriented.
• Hands-on, autonomous, capable of multi-tasking in fast pace.
• Fluent English; Spanish/Italian valued.
• Ability to influence stakeholders with curiosity and empathy.

Responsabilidades

• Commercial Controlling & BI: analyze customer unit economics and pricing.
• Geographical ROI analytics: monitor profitability by country.
• Strategic FP&A: own global budget, planning, and forecasting.
• Global closings: oversee consolidated multi-country closes under GAAP/IFRS.
• Reporting: prepare financial statements and Board packs for PE partners.
• M&A integration: align new entities into Group ERP and policies.
• AI integration & automation: implement AI tools to automate workflows.
• Systems scalability: optimize NetSuite and other financial systems.
