Arbolus is seeking a Group Financial Controller to anchor our Finance team in Barcelona. You will oversee AP, treasury, tax, payroll, and the full sales cycle, driving month-end close, budgeting, and variance analysis. You’ll lead automation initiatives and guide both internal and external teams through audits.

You should bring 5–10 years of finance experience, Big 4 background, and a hands-on, process-improvement mindset, with strong English communication. Relocation to Barcelona is offered.

Formación

• 5–10 years of finance experience, including audit ideally at a Big 4 firm
• Strong technical accounting skills with hands-on approach
• Experience owning finance processes end-to-end in a lean team
• Interest in automation and AI in finance
• Excellent written and spoken English

Responsabilidades

• Own day-to-day finance operations: AP, treasury, tax and payroll
• Own full sales cycle: invoicing, usage reporting, deferred revenue, credit control and revenue reconciliation
• Oversee multi-entity, multi-currency bookkeeping (Xero / Spendesk)
• Lead month-end close and management reporting, KPIs and monthly review deck
• Drive budgeting, variance analysis and cost control
• Support finance strategy: cash forecasting and business planning with cross-functional teams
• Implement automation and AI agents in finance processes
• Coordinate annual financial audit with external auditors
• Ensure statutory compliance across the group
• Provide financial analysis and insights for decision-making
• Lead and coach the finance team
