Job summary

ABB is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide routine maintenance and on-site or remote technical support across the Pulps and Paper Industries. The role involves significant travel, including international sites, and on-call duties as required by customer contracts.

You will perform installation, commissioning, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting, collaborating with customers and ABB teams to deliver high-quality service and solutions while adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Higher Education in Electrical, Electronic or Automation fields.
• 2+ years in commissioning, maintenance or field service roles.
• MS Office proficiency and PLC programming knowledge.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Valid driver license in Spain and work permit in Spain.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and on-site or remote technical support.
• Install and commission equipment; identify and analyze problems.
• Provide on-call service according to customer contracts.
• Consult with customers to choose best service solutions and maintain strong relationships.
• Lead or participate in specialist projects and ensure milestones are met.
