Job summary

ABB seeks a Field Service Technician to program, engineer, commission, and maintain ABB drives and control systems in Metals and Pulp & Paper industries in Sevilla, Spain. You’ll engage with project teams across locations, perform troubleshooting, and ensure safety standards while traveling domestically.

The role requires CFGS or higher in Electrical/Electronic/Automation with 2+ years of hands-on service experience, Spanish proficiency, and good English.

Qualifications

• CFGS or University studies (Electricity, Electronic or Automation) and more than 2 years in related roles.
• Spoken and written Spanish native or high level.
• Good command of English; additional languages welcome.

Responsibilities

• Programming, engineering, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of ABB drives and control systems.
• Perform service work with low to medium complexity following work instructions and ABB processes.
• Take on-call service as per contracts; 24h availability during on-call weeks.
• Travel domestically (~60%–80%) for commissioning and service activities.
