Job summary

Expeditors, a global logistics company, invites a Customs Clerk to join our Barcelona-area office. You will manage smooth customs processes, accurate data entry, and timely billing while upholding regulatory compliance and strong client support.

We seek candidates with 2-3 years in customs, knowledge of brokerage processes and legislation, and excellent communication and office skills. English fluency is required for daily operations.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years related experience in CUSTOMS
• Strong knowledge of customs brokerage process and system
• Knowledge of customs legislation: classification, valuation, origin
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely customs process flow
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
• Track and Trace Custom files and reporting
• Ensure accurate and timely client billing
• Understand and interpret the Desk Level Operating Procedure for import/export instructions
• Transfer customs declaration information into the customs entry system
• Assist with verification of customs declarations and submissions to the authority
• Ensure compliance with regulations at all times
