Job summary

IQVIA in Barcelona is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Connected Devices projects spanning clinical trial phases. You will manage medium to large, multi-regional initiatives to ensure sponsor satisfaction, on-time delivery, and adherence to budget and procedures.

You will serve as the primary sponsor contact, drive resource planning, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life science or health care field.
• 5 years of project management experience in connected devices.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, schedule, and organize.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Plan, initiate, execute, control and deliver projects per scope of work.
• Serve as primary sponsor contact and maintain reporting schedules.
• Drive resource planning and support project team resources.
• Lead cross-functional Connected Devices teams for delivery.
• Track progress, identify risks, and take corrective action.
• Manage project financials, revenue recognition and change orders.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and SOPs.
• Prepare and present project information at meetings.
• Conduct end-of-project reviews.
• Keep leadership informed of issues affecting quality, budget, timeliness.
• Train and mentor junior project managers.
• Provide input on team performance to aid development.
