dormakaba Spain is seeking a Global Category Manager to lead the Metal Profiles and Tubes category, focusing on aluminium extrusion, and to drive market-oriented procurement strategies across regions. You will define category objectives, manage global tenders, and collaborate with regional managers to deliver value through data-driven sourcing, standardization, and stakeholder engagement.

Formación

• University degree in business, engineering, industrial engineering, or equivalent.
• 3+ years in strategic procurement, preferably metal profiles, tubes or raw materials.
• Global tenders and negotiations experience in an international setting.
• Stakeholder management with international teams.
• Excellent communication and networking abilities.
• Fluent German and English (spoken and written).
• Strong negotiation, analytical thinking and structured approach.

Responsabilidades

• Global Category Management: Drive procurement strategies for Metal Profiles and Tubes, focusing on aluminium extrusion.
• Define, implement and monitor category objectives and KPIs aligned with global strategy.
• Develop and implement global sourcing strategies with market analysis.
• Manage contracts and supplier relationships, ensuring global requirements.
• Consolidate global demand and align with regional needs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers and partners.
• Lead tenders and sourcing projects, including negotiations and compliance.
• Provide market insights and supplier data to support global strategies.
• Ensure standardization, transparency, and alignment of procurement activities.
• Lead global procurement projects and performance optimization.
