Shopfully in Spain seeks a Manager, Global Accounting to lead month-end close, oversee the general ledger, and ensure accurate financial reporting across the group. You will supervise the accounting team and coordinate intercompany activities in a multinational environment.

You will support audits, IFRS compliance, and process improvements, partnering with cross‑functional teams worldwide to implement scalable controls and efficient workflows.

Formación

• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 1–2+ years of people leadership experience, including supervising, coaching, and developing accounting team members.
• CPA (or equivalent international accounting designation) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience applying accounting guidance in a complex, multi‑entity environment.
• Experience leading month‑end close, financial reporting, and consolidation processes across multiple legal entities.
• Experience supporting a global organization, including collaborating across regions, cultures, and time zones in a remote or distributed environment.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools; experience supporting ERP implementations or system enhancements is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Coordinate fixed‑assets accounting, including depreciation runs and disposals across entities.
• Oversee inter‑company accounting, including reconciliations and schedules for group consolidation.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audit activities and regulatory reporting.
