Partner company in Spain seeks a Senior Accountant - Technical Accounting to lead IFRS research, contract assessments, and key reporting. You will own memo work, month-end close support, and consolidation activities within a multinational finance team.

Ideal candidates bring strong IFRS expertise, practical experience with revenue and lease accounting, and ability to produce audit-ready documentation for external auditors.

Formación

• Strong IFRS knowledge with ability to research and apply standards.
• Experience assessing contracts for accounting implications, incl. IFRS 15/16.
• Proven technical writing for memos, position papers, or audit support.
• Hands-on month-end close, trial balance, and consolidation analysis.
• Experience with external audits and multinational reporting is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Review contracts and arrangements to determine accounting implications with focus on IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
• Research IFRS guidance and prepare technical memos and position papers.
• Support month-end close through balance reviews and account analysis.
• Prepare and review consolidation entries, including intercompany eliminations.
• Coordinate with external auditors during year-end and statutory audits.
• Develop accounting policies and training materials for stakeholders.
