Job summary

Veepee, a pioneer of online flash sales, seeks a sole Legal Counsel for Germany and Austria to own all legal, commercial, and regulatory risks for the region. Reporting to the General Counsel International, you will draft and negotiate key B2B contracts and ensure compliance across GPSR, consumer protection, and advertising rules.

You will advise leadership, monitor laws, manage disputes, and lead staff training, balancing risk with growth in a fast-paced European ecommerce environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Law with focus on consumer/commercial law.
• Minimum 5 years in a reputable law firm or corporate legal dept.
• Strong drafting and risk assessment capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead legal risks for Germany and Austria, advising regional leadership.
• Draft and negotiate B2B commercial agreements (product, brandsplace, travel, media).
• Ensure compliance with GPSR, pricing transparency, consumer protection.
• Oversee drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of contracts reflecting objectives.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise on compliance adaptations.
• Manage disputes and coordinate with external counsel when needed.
• Educate staff on key legal developments, policies and best practices.
• Serve as business partner and trusted advisor to enable growth.
