FUNDACIO INSTITUT D'INVESTIGACIO EN CIENCIES DE LA SALUT GERMANS TRIAS I PUJOL invites a Research Technician with a Master’s degree to join the Genomics and Transcriptomics of Synucleinopathies (GTS) group. You will contribute to a funded project on platelet-derived biomarkers for Lewy body disorders, including molecular assays and data analysis.

You will perform sample processing, genotyping, manuscript drafting, and maintain lab databases, supporting translation of discoveries to clinical

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor in Science with focus in molecular biology and/or neuroscience
• Master’s degree with focus in neurosciences
• Strong experience in molecular biology techniques (DNA and RNA isolation, RNA quantification, PCR and genotyping)
• Experience in cell culture and microscopy
• Experience in sample handling and processing
• Experience in AS-SAA assays
• Minimum two years of work experience
• Advanced MS Office knowledge
• Knowledge of databases (Excel)
• Knowledge of RStudio and data analysis
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Team player with strong responsibility and perseverance
• English level at C1 (certification required)
• Good oral and written communication skills

• Conduct genotyping using RFLP and Sanger sequencing
• Interpret results, present and discuss them
• Draft manuscripts / manuscript sections
• Maintain and update laboratory databases
• Oversee laboratory materials and reagents availability
