Siemens Energy in Spain invites experienced technicians to join the TAS team as Generator Operator TAS Technician, focusing on assembly and commissioning of generators at client sites worldwide. You will perform maintenance, overhauls, and troubleshooting of gas turbine packages and related equipment, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork.

This role requires a vocational mechanical/industrial qualification, 2–5 years experience, English B1, and willingness to travel

Formación

• Must have a vocational degree in a mechanical/industrial field.
• 2–5 years of experience in industrial or machine maintenance or equivalent.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and read schematics.
• Knowledge of workshop health and safety practices and overhead crane operation.

Responsabilidades

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on gas turbine packages, gas turbines, power turbines, and compressors.
• Conduct overhauls and new builds for onshore and offshore installations.
• Troubleshoot workshop equipment to ensure readiness and uptime.
• Contribute to planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to lift safety and performance.

Join our dynamic TAS team as a Generator Operator TAS Technician, where your expertise will shine in the assembly and commissioning of generators at client installations around the globe. How You’ll Make An Impact

• You will perform maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on gas turbine packages, gas turbines, power turbines, and compressors.
• Conduct overhauls and new builds of equipment for both onshore and offshore installations.
• Troubleshoot and service the workshop’s production equipment to ensure operational readiness.
• Actively contribute to the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities, enhancing overall efficiency.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to elevate workshop safety and performance standards.

What You Bring

• A vocational degree in a relevant mechanical or industrial field.
• 2-5 years of experience in industrial or machine maintenance, with relevant experience considered in lieu of formal education.
• Strong technical skills in machine repair and overhaul, along with the ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of workshop health and safety (HSE) practices and overhead crane operation.
• A structured and methodical work approach, complemented by a service-oriented mindset and excellent teamwork skills.
• Minimum English proficiency at B1 level.
• Availability for recurring international travel.
