Keyrus Portugal is seeking an experienced AI/GenAI Engineer to help clients transform complexity into measurable outcomes. You will blend hands-on development, solution design, and delivery of AI-powered solutions in a consultative role.

The position emphasizes architecture with practical implementation, enabling scalable AI across cloud services and client environments. Remote-friendly with strong collaboration across international teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years in Software/Data/ML/AI roles
• 2+ years deploying Generative AI and RAG solutions
• Experience delivering RAG architectures in production
• Cloud-based apps on AWS; agile cross-functional teams

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and deploy Generative AI solutions using AWS AI services and modern LLM frameworks
• Build and optimise RAG pipelines with chunking, hybrid retrieval and metadata filtering
• Develop AI apps using Python and AWS SDK (Boto3)
• Implement and manage Amazon OpenSearch for semantic search
• Create and maintain Amazon Bedrock Knowledge Bases
• Design Agentic AI architectures and orchestration frameworks
• Apply prompt engineering and LLM-evaluator frameworks
• Contribute to LLM FinOps and cost management
• Collaborate with data, cloud and business teams to deliver scalable AI solutions
• Provide technical guidance on AI architecture and deployment methods
