Job summary

Astek Iberia is seeking a Technical Functional Analyst to join our client’s team in Madrid. This non-developer role acts as the bridge between business needs and system configuration within a railway reservation and inventory platform.

You will analyze requirements, configure business rules, support pricing, fares, schedules, promotions and inventory setup, and collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners and Developers to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in technical functional analysis or related fields.
• Ability to translate complex business processes into application configurations.
• Experience with APIs, Postman, Jira, system integrations and functional testing.

At ASTEK Iberia, we are looking for a Technical Functional Analyst to join our client's team in Madrid. This role is ideal for someone with a technical background who enjoys understanding complex systems, configuring business rules, analysing requirements and working closely with business stakeholders.

This is not a software developer position. Instead, you will act as the bridge between business needs and system configuration within a critical reservation and inventory management platform.

Who are you?

• 2-5 years of experience in one or more of the following: Technical Functional Analysis, Functional Consulting, ERP Consulting, Application Support, Systems Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, Configuration Management
• Ability to understand complex business processes and convert them into application configurations.
• Experience working with: APIs, Postman, Jira, System integrations, Functional testing

Nice to Have

• Transportation, travel or ticketing industry exposure
• Reservation or inventory management systems
• Railway sector knowledge
