UST is seeking a Functional Data Analyst to drive data governance, quality, and extraction initiatives. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams in an international setting, leading data governance workstreams and prioritizing backlogs with suppliers.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with dashboards, KPI definition, testing, incident management, and fluent English (C1).

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Lead data governance workstreams together with the PO.
• Identify, analyze, and prioritize user needs and requirements.
• Manage internal backlog and negotiate prioritization with the team.
• Prioritize backlog with external tool provider and validate functionality.
• Organize deliverables and demos with users; manage meetings and committees.
• Design, review, and validate dashboards and KPI calculations.
• Support testing and incident management.

What we look for?

We are looking for a Functional Data Analyst with experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Extraction, capable of acting as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, experience managing backlogs and requirements, and a solid understanding of agile environments. The candidate should be comfortable working with data governance tools, dashboard design, KPI definition, testing activities, incident management, and stakeholder communication in an international environment.

Main Tasks And Accountabilities Will Be

• Lead, together with the PO, all workstreams within the data governance workstream.
• Identify, analyze, and prioritize user needs and functional requirements.
• Manage the internal task backlog, negotiate with the team for execution and prioritization.
• Prioritize the backlog with the external tool provider.
• Validate the functionalities implemented in the tool and ensure they meet the functional requirements.
• Management and review of incidents, tracking them and solutions.
• Organize the preparation of deliverables and demos with users.
• Attend and manage different meetings and committees.
• Design, review, and validation of different requested dashboards, as well as the calculation of different KPIs.
• Support and Testing.

What do we expect from you?

Experience as a Functional Business Analyst, Functional Data Analyst, or similar role. As a Functional Business Analyst for the Data Governance, Quality, and Extraction workstream related to the data governance tool within SCIB. English level C1 or higher. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an international environment.

Onsite, in Boadilla, Madrid.
