Escape Velocity Entertainment is seeking a Gameplay Engineer to help design and implement large gameplay features from a fully remote setup. You will work with design, animation, and audio to shape gameplay experiences on PC using C/C++ and Unreal Engine 4/5.

You will contribute to system design, optimize performance, and collaborate across art, design, and QA to ship polished gameplay. A strong math background and clear communication are essential.

Formación

• Experience developing games professionally.
• Experience using Unreal Engine 4/5.
• Strong math skills.
• Strong C++ skills and the ability to code and architect gameplay mechanics and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to the design of our gameplay systems.
• Develop, modify, and debug gameplay software in script and C/C++.
• Deploy, optimize and test gameplay software on PC.
• Collaborate with other internal departments (art, design, audio, QA, etc.).
• Document software and features for internal and external teams.
• Participate in the code review process.
