Escape Velocity Entertainment is seeking a skilled game programmer to join a Fully Remote team working on AAA titles. You will collaborate across disciplines to implement UI, write gameplay code, and help design features while adhering to coding standards.

Formación

• Experience developing games professionally, and shipping AAA titles.
• Experience using industry-standard engines such as Unity and UE5.
• A keen analytical mind, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong C++ skills and the ability to code and architect gameplay mechanics and tools.
• Strong math skills.
• Well versed in games and the ability to articulate what is strong/weak about the design of existing games.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivated, strong work ethic, and able to work independently.
• Creativity in problem‑solving and the ability to think outside of the established solutions.
• Keen interest in games.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with other disciplines (art, design, sound) in implementing the UI.
• Write code that fulfills the functional and technical requirements of the project.
• Participate in the design of products and perform some testing activities.
• Adhere to the project's coding standards.
• Research coding techniques and algorithms to stay current on technological developments and advancements in the game industry.
• Identify technical and developmental risks/obstacles and generate solutions to overcome identified risks.
