Job summary

ITW, a global multi-industrial manufacturer, seeks a Financial Controller to lead accounting, reporting, and strategic finance from Spain. The role partners with leadership to drive growth, optimize working capital, and ensure compliance across the business.

Expect remote collaboration with global teams and a focus on process improvements. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in finance, strong IFRS/GAAP expertise, and proven leadership in remote environments.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Finance required (or equivalent work experience).
• 7+ years in financial reporting, analysis, and cost control with budget tracking.
• Experience with Spanish GAAP/IFRS and audit coordination.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Fluency in Spanish and English; remote team management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations including AP, AR, GL and payroll.
• Ensure timely monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements under Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
• Develop policies to strengthen internal controls and efficiency.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Mentor accounting team and coordinate external audits.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support decisions.
• Implement and manage financial systems and software.
