Job summary

At SII Group Spain, we are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer (ReactJS & Java) to join our team in Barcelona. This position offers a hybrid working model with 60% remote work and 40% in-office collaboration within an international IT services environment.

You will contribute to modernising applications, designing RESTful services, and integrating AI-assisted development tools to deliver a personalised customer experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with ReactJS and Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of ReactJS and modern frontend development.
• Strong knowledge of Java 21 and Spring Boot 4.x.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining REST APIs.
• Extensive experience working with Git.
• Experience with AI-assisted software development and AI-powered development tools.
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes in a DevOps environment.
• Strong understanding of Software Craftsmanship principles, including clean code, TDD and software quality best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly when analysing existing applications and translating their functionalities into new architectures.
• Strong communication skills, openness to constructive feedback and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• A proactive attitude, autonomy and a strong willingness to share knowledge and continuously improve.
• Native-level French is required.
• Knowledge of Python is a plus

Responsibilities

• Work within a team evolving towards Agile methodologies, Software Craftsmanship and DevOps practices.
• Contribute to AI tools and AI-assisted development solutions to improve applications and deliver a personalised customer experience.
• Monitor production environments, ensure application stability and troubleshoot issues.
• Apply and promote clean code, TDD and software quality best practices.
• Actively contribute to the team's continuous improvement culture by sharing knowledge and exchanging ideas.
• Participate in technical discussions, provide constructive feedback and help the team continuously improve its development practices.
• Ensure the quality, reliability and maintainability of the applications throughout their lifecycle.
