SII Group Spain is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer (ReactJS & Java) to join the Barcelona team. The role focuses on developing and modernising full-stack applications using ReactJS, Java 21 and Spring Boot 4.x, with an emphasis on REST APIs and DevOps practices.

The position offers a permanent contract, relocation assistance to Barcelona, and a hybrid work model (60% remote, 40% office). Candidates should have 5+ years in full stack development and be fluent in French.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in full stack development using ReactJS and Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of ReactJS and frontend development.
• Strong knowledge of Java 21 and Spring Boot 4.x.
• Experience developing and maintaining REST APIs.
• Experience with Git and Kubernetes in a DevOps environment.
• Knowledge of Python is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Native-level French is required.

• Develop, maintain and enhance full-stack applications using ReactJS, Java 21 and Spring Boot 4.x.
• Modernise and migrate existing applications to new architecture based on ReactJS and Spring Boot.
• Analyse applications and translate requirements into new solutions.

What are the requirements?

• Higher vocational training (HES, federal diploma, EPF) or a university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent qualifications.
• At least 5 years of experience in Full Stack application development using ReactJS and Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of ReactJS and modern frontend development.
• Strong knowledge of Java 21 and Spring Boot 4.x.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining REST APIs.
• Extensive experience working with Git.
• Experience with AI-assisted software development and AI-powered development tools.
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes in a DevOps environment.
• Knowledge of Python is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Software Craftsmanship principles, including clean code, TDD and software quality best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly when analysing existing applications and translating their functionalities into new architectures.
• Strong communication skills, openness to constructive feedback and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• A proactive attitude, autonomy and a strong willingness to share knowledge and continuously improve.
• Native-level French is required.

• Contribute to the progressive modernisation and migration of existing applications towards a new architecture based on ReactJS and Spring Boot.
• Analyse existing applications and translate their functional and technical requirements into new solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to clarify requirements and define the best implementation approaches.
• Design, develop and maintain REST APIs and integrations between different systems.

• Contribute to the implementation of AI tools and AI-assisted development solutions to improve applications and deliver a more personalised customer experience.
• Monitor production environments, ensure application stability and troubleshoot technical issues.

• Actively contribute to the team's continuous improvement culture by sharing knowledge, exchanging ideas and challenging existing approaches.
• Participate in technical discussions, provide constructive feedback and help the team continuously improve its development practices.
