Job summary

Associated Traffic AG is seeking a logistics professional in Valencia to plan shipments, negotiate rates, and select carriers. You will manage road freight operations (FTL/LTL) and develop a reliable carrier network while maintaining end-to-end shipment visibility.

The role requires native Spanish and English at B2, proactive problem-solving, and strong negotiation capabilities to optimize costs and transit times.

Qualifications

• Experience in FTL and LTL shipments in Freight Forwarding.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of the road freight market, including market trends and pricing.
• Proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
• Native-level Spanish required; English at B2 level.

Responsibilities

• Researching and planning the most suitable route for the shipment, taking into account perishable or dangerous goods, cost, transit time and safety;
• Negotiating contracts, transportation and handling costs;
• Selecting carriers and developing a reliable carrier network;
• Offering road consolidation services, providing cost-effective and safe solutions;
• Organizing courier services and specialized manual handling;
• Maintaining communication and control at all stages of the journey, including the production of management reports and statistical and unit cost analyses.
